Coco, the Disney-Pixar animated film about Mexico's Dia de los Muertos, took home the Oscar for Best Animated Feature and people were damn proud.
Co-Director Lee Unkrich dedicated the film's Oscar win to Mexico and delivered this powerful statement: "With Coco we tried to take a step forward toward a world where all children can see characters in movies that look and talk and live like they do. Marginalized people deserve to feel like they belong. Representation matters."
