Mark Ruffalo Actually Spoiled "Avengers: Endgame" Weeks Ago, Which Is Totally On-Brand

"We all need to remember that this is the moment that Mark did it again."

First, this post contains MAJOR spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. So if you haven't seen the movie yet, I suggest you turn around and come back after!

It's no secret that Mark Ruffalo has a pretty hard time not spoiling major plot points for the Marvel movies.

I mean, he accidentally livestreamed a portion of Thor: Ragnarok at the premiere.

And almost a year before Avengers: Infinity War was released, he revealed that everyone dies.

So when it came time for Avengers: Endgame, certain precautions were taken so that Mark wouldn't let anything slip.

In an interview with E! News from early April, Mark revealed that his script was filled with fake scenes and that the cast even filmed moments that were never meant to be in the movie.

And then, Mark let out the big spoiler! To emphasize his point, he revealed that he even read a crazy scene where Captain America gets married.

Of course, we now know that Avengers: Endgame ends with Steve deciding to stay in the past after returning the Infinity Stones, and he eventually gets married to Peggy Carter.

At the time of the interview, Mark hadn't seen Endgame, so there's no way he actually knew that this scene would become so important and even end the film.

Chris Evans did cover Mark's reveal quickly by saying everyone does whatever they can to stop Mark from spilling any secrets.

My favorite part is that Marvel fans knew that this could possibly be a huge spoiler just because Mark said it.

Also, I don't think Mark realizes that he spoiled the movie, considering he recently posted a video where Brie Larson congratulates him for not spoiling Endgame.

Now that #AvengersEndgame is out in the world, you all can finally live without the fear of me spoiling it 🙈 @brielarson @RobertDowneyJr @TessaThompson_x @Renner4Real

Anyway, I'm still obsessed with Mark Ruffalo trying to keep all of his Marvel secrets and I'm glad to see that he's still just an excited fan who wants to talk about Endgame.
