Here's Where Everyone Ended Up At The End Of "Jane The Virgin"

"You are the storyteller of your own life."

Hello, friends! After five emotional, heartwarming, and amazing seasons, Jane the Virgin just came to an end.

    The CW

Here's what happened to some of our favorite characters at the end of the series:

🚨Obviously MASSIVE spoilers ahead for the final season! 🚨

    1. Jane Villanueva

    The CW

During the penultimate episode, Jane sold her novel for a whopping $500,000 dollars and she's now a successful author. In the series finale, Jane and Rafael finally get married surrounded by their friends and family and it's beautiful. After their wedding, Rafael asks how Jane ended her book and she says that they turn her life into a telenovela.

    2. Rafael Solano

    The CW

As we said above, Rafael married Jane in a beautiful ceremony. While he'll never know his real parents, he's made a family with Petra and the Villanuevas. While I cried a lot in this episode, watching Rafael get emotional over his vows to Jane and calling Rogelio "dad" just showed how much he's grown.

    3. Xiomara Villanueva

    The CW

After beating cancer, Xiomara decided to become a nurse, so she could help others. She successfully got into nursing school and has finally found a career that makes her happy. During the series finale, Xo struggles with moving to NYC with Rogelio and saying goodbye to her family. In the end, Alba and Jane help Xo realize that although she's scared of change, NYC will be amazing.

    4. Rogelio De La Vega

    The CW

After deciding to move to NYC, where his new TV series, This Is Mars, will film, Rogelio hopes that this will be the start of his career in the US. During the series finale, the pilot of This Is Mars airs and everyone LOVES it. Rogelio is recognized on the street and we learn that this is just the start of his amazing career.

    5. Alba Villanueva

    The CW

Alright, I'm going to be honest, I was nervous during the ENTIRE series finale that Alba was going to die! But, fear not. Alba was right when she said everyone eventually gets a happy ending. In the series finale, Alba officiates Jane's wedding and takes some time to reflect on the happy life she's created in the US. I'm crying just thinking about it.

    6. Petra Solano

    The CW

I've literally said it numerous times, but Petra Solano underwent one of the biggest and best character developments in TV history. During the series finale, Petra was emotional over Jane and Rafael's happy ending and feared that she'd never find love again. However, at the wedding, JR returns and reunites with Petra and the duo get back together. Petra went from a villain on Jane the Virgin to a beloved character and I loved every second of it.

    7. Michael Cordero

    The CW

While Michael didn't appear in the series finale, he still got his happy ending. After returning from the "dead" and saying goodbye to Jane, Michael fell in love with Charlie, a rancher from Montana. When we last see Michael he gives Jane his blessing to include his story in her novel. He also reveals that he's engaged to Charlie and that they're expecting their first child together.

    8. Mateo Solano Villanueva

    The CW

During the final season, Mateo struggled in school and was diagnosed with ADHD. With the help of Jane and Rafael, Mateo finally starts to feel confident and can now read. During the series finale, Mateo reads a passage from a book in front of his entire family at the wedding. Also, we get a glimpse at Mateo's future, but more on that later.

    9. Dr. Luisa Alver

    The CW

Luisa had her ups and downs during Jane the Virgin. I mean, she is the one who accidentally inseminated Jane to begin with. During the final season, we learn that Luisa has actually been working with the police to take down Rose aka Sin Rostro. After Rose is vanquished, Luisa is finally accepted by Rafael and rejoins the family. In the series finale, Luisa gives Rafael a final gift and reveals that she found his birth parents, who are sadly dead. While it's not great news, it gives Rafael the closure he's been looking for all this time.

    10. Rose aka Sin Rostro

    The CW

Rose remained a classic and amazing telenovela villain right until the end. During the final season, she was working on a final plan that would take down Jane and Rafael once and for all; however, she's stopped by Luisa. In the penultimate episode, Luisa kills Rose by pushing her over a balcony. Her death even mimicked Roman Zazo's in Season 1.

    11. Magda

    The CW

Petra's horrible mother was last seen trekking across Siberia and finding Petra's other sibling! That's right, Petra is actually a triplet, not a twin, and yes, it is something "straight out of a telenovela."

    12. Lina

    The CW

Jane's BFF returned in the series finale to be Jane's maid of honor. After struggling to have a baby, Lina tells Jane that she's pregnant. Her sister donated an egg so Lina could finally be a mom.

    13. Ellie and Anna Solano

    The CW

Petra and Rafael's daughters end the series surrounded by their family. They've also accepted Jane as their stepmom, which is adorable. I mean, look at this family!

    14. Darci Factor and Esteban Santiago

    The CW

During the series finale, Esteban proposes to Darci at Jane and Rafael's wedding. Also, the duo are moving to NYC so Rogelio can continue to be in Baby's life.

    15. And finally, the Narrator

    The CW

After five seasons of wondering who the Narrator is, the series finale finally gave us the answer. It's revealed that the Narrator is actually Mateo! While we don't know any more details, creator Jennie Snyder Urman knew the Narrator was going to be Mateo from the very beginning.
