17 Details From Inside Disney World That'll Make You Say, "How Did I Not Notice That?"

Have you spotted all the names on the windows on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom?

    1. The airplane that was seen in the Casablanca section of The Great Movie Ride is actually the front half of the plane that's crashed in The Jungle Cruise.

    2. If you look down while walking around Toy Story Land, you'll notice giant footprints. These are meant to be Andy's and help give the allusion that you're a toy in Andy's backyard.

    3. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride replaced Mr. Toad's Wild Ride in 1998 but, if you look closely, you can spot Mr. Toad handing the deed to the ride over to Owl.

    4. On the Slinky Dog Dash rollercoaster, the price on the game box is $19.95. This is a nod to 1995, which was the year Toy Story first premiered in theaters.

    5. There are scratch marks on the floor in the lobby of The Country Bear Jamboree, a subtle nod to all the bears that enjoy watching the show too.

    6. If you look in the windows above the stores on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom you can spot the names of some important Disney imagineers.

    7. The dates above the doors in Frontierland actually correspond to the year the building was modeled after. As you venture through Frontierland you are travelling through the 1800s.

    8. Thirteen lanterns hang in the oak tree in Liberty Square. They represent the original thirteen colonies.

    9. The posters that hang outside the It's Tough To Be A Bug theater are insect versions of famous musicals.

    10. The Tower of Terror is so tall that you can actually see it from Morocco in The World Showcase. Because of this, imagineers designed the back of Tower of Terror to blend in with Morocco's landscape.

    11. The trash cans in Disney World have different designs depending on which land you're in. This is so they don't stand out and continue to be part of the theme.

    12. Besides the American flag that flies on the large flag pole on Main Street, all the other flags are missing five stars. This is so they don't need to be taken down every night.

    13. When in the Tangled area in Fantasyland, you can spot several tiny Pascals hanging out by the bathrooms.

    14. The Great Seal of The United States in The Hall of Presidents is one of only three seals in the world — the other two are located in the Oval Office and with the Liberty Bell.

    15. The animal crackers seen in Woody's Lunchbox are also the prizes that you can win when playing Toy Story Mania.

    16. In Pandora, you can spot three handprints on the wall when leaving Avatar Flight of Passage. The three handprints belong to James Cameron, Jon Landau, and Joe Rohde.

    17. And of course, there are hundreds of hidden Mickey's scattered throughout the entirety of Disney World.
