In case you've been living under a rock, Netflix's Dead to Me is already one of the most talked-about shows of 2019.
And if you're like me and are still obsessing over it, you're in luck — Netflix just announced that the show is coming back for Season 2!
According to Entertainment Weekly, creator Liz Feldman announced that the series was renewed for Season 2 at Netflix's FYSEE event last night.
The renewal comes after Season 1 ended on a pretty massive cliffhanger with Jen killing Steve and having to call Judy for help.
Speaking to Uproxx before the official Season 2 announcement, Liz hinted that the next season will deal with Jen and Judy figuring out their complicated relationship.
Liz elaborated, saying, "They’re forced together to keep this secret, if you will. And in doing so, will be confronted with having to forgive each other."
Also, Season 2 could potentially feature Liz's original ending for Season 1 — originally, Liz pitched Dead to Me with a different ending, one that didn't include Steve dying.
While we'll have to wait until 2020 for next season, I can assure you I'll be rewatching Season 1 (again) in preparation.
Basically, I'm just so excited to see Judy and Jen (and Christina and Linda) again.
