We created this piece for HBO to celebrate the launch of the Game of Thrones season 4 DVD Box Set. It took three weeks to design and build, before it was sited in Covent Garden for fans to interact with. This was Paul’s favourite piece to work on.

A 1m x 1m block of ice was formed and this winter jacket was “floated” inside it. Crafted and photographed in Liverpool before being shipped to Berlin.

Mat C’s favourite live sculpture to date, it was carved in the pouring rain. Taking five hours to complete, the final product measured 2m wide and 1m tall.

6. Dr Oetker's Ice Pizzeria

Dr Oetkers requested the corner of a Pizzaeria building for Liverpool Street Station in London, complete with chairs, tables and a bar. Real pizza ingredients were frozen into the walls. Overall it came to 4m x 3m x 2.5m, and required more than 4 tonnes of ice!

Created for a competition in Latvia, the team had to work through the night with -20 degree temperatures to get it finished on time.

The MTV European Music Awards in 2008 were held in Liverpool, and we created this fantastic sculpture sign for them. It measured 1m x 80cm wide.

This was a special piece made for the BBC3 show “Don’t Tell the Bride”. Measuring 2m x 3.5m, it was a monster of a sculpture that cost the groom half of his budget!

This was one of our very first Ice Bar designs, made way back in 2007 – Ice bars are something we really specialize in. Nothing says “Wow Factor” like serving drinks from a custom built ice bar.This 3m bar was was for Cointreau and had 3 of their bottles floating in the ice.

1. Game of Thrones Ice Henge

Six tonnes of ice went into making this monumental piece, which we carved in Liverpool before driving it to Belfast. Over the two days of filming we had to maintain the ice altar and ten giant ice spikes; although we then got the thrill of seeing our creation on television!
