Deepika put the Times Of India on blast on twitter for publishing a tweet and story that read "OMG: Deepika Padukone's cleavage show!" featuring top shots of her taken at an event.

2. Gauahar Khan for her badass response to getting slapped for wearing a short dress.

While shooting for an Indian reality show, Gauahar Khan was slapped by a member of the audience for wearing "short dresses." Khan later held a press conference where she gracefully addressed the issue while pointing out the shortcomings in how our society treats women.

3. These 2 college girls from Rohtak who responded to harassment by assaulting their culprits with a belt.

These two sisters totally gave back to the men who were harassing them on a bus while onlookers did nothing to help them except take this viral video.

4. Sonakshi Sinha's response to this series of tweets by all round douchebag Kamaal R Khan.

7. Rani Tripathi who put her foot down against dowry by organising a sting operation.

After already paying more than 6 lakh rupees to a family that started out saying they wouldn't take any dowry, Rani and her family planned a sting operation and caught her probable in-laws asking for money on a pen camera. The police registered an FIR after watching the hidden camera footage.

15. Laxmi, an acid attack survivor, who was awarded the US Secretary of State's International Women of Courage Award 2014, by FLOTUS Michelle Obama.
