The Perks of Being a Wallflower is hands down one of the best adaptions - mainly because the author, Stephen Chbosky, also wrote the screenplay. Another fantastic adaption is The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. It’s pretty spot on and has a loaded cast, can’t ask for much more.

I already had been pretty over my supposed best friend of over a decade but what really sealed the deal on ending it for good was when she didn’t show up to my DAD’s funeral. Coworkers and people who’d never met him showed up, but not her. I will never get over it.
