This Guy Waited Two Decades To Sell The "Original" Apple Watch

    Procrastinators, the leaders of tomorrow.

Thought this was the first-ever Apple watch? You were wrong.

The new Apple Watch isn't actually the first. THIS IS.

The vintage trinket was one of two freebie options that came with the 1995 release of Macintosh System 7.5.

A former iPhone blogger named Michael DeLisi spent years looking for the vintage watch for his personal collection.

DeLisi told BuzzFeed Life that when he finally found it, he discovered that the Apple retailer he bought it from had over 200 of these collector's items left over from the 1995 giveaway.

Did that many people choose Conflict Catcher 3 over the Apple Watch?!

The Apple retailer had kept the watches in storage for 20 years, waiting for an opportune moment to sell them as a vintage find. DeLisi says the reseller had probably forgotten about their existence until the Apple Watch news broke in September 2014.

Michael now runs The Original Apple Watch e-store, where he's selling these bad boys from $799 to $2,999 a pop. (Even more than the new ones!)

The initial stock sold out just four hours after site launch, DeLisi said. There are now only a "single digit" amount of watches remaining in each condition option (**flawless**, almost perfect, imperfect).

"We are awaiting the most passionate of collectors to purchase remaining watches," DeLisi said.

Time is so hot right now.
