Qantas Gives Its Flying Kangaroo An American Makeover

Do you even call Australia home, bro?!

This morning in Sydney, Qantas had its inaugural Sydney to Dallas flight (non-stop) with its Airbus A380.

G'Day Texas! The BIG @Qantas A380 plane is headed to DFW from SYD Australia. The kangaroo is wearing a cowboy hat.

To celebrate this, and to get the attention off the fact that the company laid off 5000 employees earlier this year, Qantas gave their iconic flying Kangaroo a makeover.

This saw the A830’s Flying Kangaroo dressed in a cowboy hat and bandanna. Only fitting, since Dallas is in the heart of Texas.

This 16 hour flight, makes the route the world's longest non-stop passenger flight
