That's right the kings of country rock are on tour together this summer. Tate Chasers, Johnny Stash, and Danny Bullworth for the NonStop Drinkin' Tour, all across North America at outdoor Bars. Bullworth said he wanted to call it "Bars Only Tour" but the name had already been released. The three of these country singers will all take the stage together to close out each show, it's something they haven't done together in over 10 years. Tate "Taint" Chasers says forgiveness is the hardest thing to do and says he's not ready to forgive Stash and may never be but he'll still take the stage with him and put on one hell of a party. It was Danny Bullworth who brought Chasers and Stash back together for a summer tour and no one steps on Danny's party. Danny said "All I had to do was promise a great party and take steps to avoid drama, step 1, we all get our own bus, step 2, no girlfriends or wives on tour, step 3, drink every night." So expect to hear all your favorite countrock songs of all time, cause when these three play a show expect the unexpected. That is the word on the street from so many of our subscribers, Taint, the new album by Tate Chasers is one of the best ever, how can this be? A drifter country singer that has been around for years but never had any true success just blows the world away with a new album. Junior Highs all across America will soon have a new hero. The album kicks off with an instant classic Alibi which has a alternative rock sound but way cooler than the mid nineties ever were. Fifteen songs, seventeen if you were really counting, jam packed with anthems from "Drunk" to "Fireball". Rock n Roll with hysterical comedy, why didn't somebody think of this sooner. Songs like "Country Singer" make everybody in Nashville jealous of their whimpy lives compared to Tate "Taint" Chasers. Never have we seen rock comedy other than those little extra songs Van Halen use to put at the end of their albums but nothing like what Tate Chasers has just served us, this guy will soon be making beer commericals or even mainstream Jameson advertising, and I can't wait. We would love some music videos from Mr. Chasers but hell why not make a whole movie based on Taint. As I heard Tate say in a recent interview from the Nashville Beat, "you can't hate this CD cause it will hate you back", and I agree with Tate, it's that powerful. So is the album "Taint" better than Abbey Road, no of course not, but maybe it is because I can't stop listening to it. 2017 Tour Dates For Tate Chasers
Netflix is adding Bricktown to their library this week. The comedy aired on The Flex Channel in 2013. The Bricktown TV Show is based on six twenty somethings living in a share house in the Bricktown area of downtown Oklahoma City. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings says that The Bricktown TV show never got to reach potential viewers because of legal battles between Harvey Weinstein and Viacom over ownership which caused the show to lay dormant for 5 years. Hastings also hinted at another season with the original cast and a possible spin off with Emma Watson under the Netflix Original banner. The show stars Taylor Harris, Ann-Lisette Coveny, Martha Corkum, Torey Byrne, Ty Dickson, Felicity Jones, Brett Garret, and Aaron Wertheim. A production by Warner Bros and Fox Television. Netflix plans on releasing the first season with 8 episodes in May 2017.
