Remember Love Is Blind, the Netflix reality show that we were all obsessed with approximately 12 billion years ago? Well, there's been a ton of new cast drama surrounding Mark, Jessica, and LC.
"I haven't the slightest idea who any of those people are," I hear a few of you cry. Well, if you need a refresher, Mark and Jessica were one of the couples who did not get married at the end of the show (Mark was a yay, Jessica was a nay). There were some concerns about the age gap between the two, residual feelings for Barnett, and a dog drinking wine. It was all a touch messy.
LC, aka Lauren Chamblin, didn't make it beyond the pods phase of the show — but she was one of the women involved in the whole love triangle (square?) with Barnett. Got it?
It looks LC and Mark started dating in May. However, that relationship came crashing to a halt after someone posted on Reddit, "My close friend's co-worker is dating Mark!!" Although the post has now been deleted, it looks like it contained a Facebook photo of Mark with another woman in Ohio.
LC found the post and commented on it, "This is awkward because I live in Atlanta and I've been dating Mark. ... I definitely just broke it off with Mark so I really do appreciate you posting this and saving me the energy on dating another liar."
In a statement to People, LC continued, "Mark and I were casually dating, but talked about remaining exclusive, especially because of COVID-19, but that’s over now. The main thing I learned from the show and past relationships is that I deserve to be treated like a priority, and not an option."
In response, Mark's statement to People said, "I enjoyed spending time with LC for a few weeks, but at no point were we in an exclusive relationship, as LC confirmed herself."
BUT WAIT, that's not all! Comments on an E! Instagram post about the whole cheating debacle led to yet another cheating allegation directed at Mark — this time claiming that he slept with multiple women as the show was filming.
Jessica replied to the comment by saying, "Wow. News to me, I only knew about the one" — which, ??????!!!!!!!!!
Mark's rep has denied the allegation in a statement to People, claiming that, "While Mark was on the show, he was fully committed to the LIB process and to Jessica."
