Kristen Bell revealed that her children have tried to order non-alcoholic beer at restaurants before.

In an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kristen and Kelly were sharing stories about having their children around alcohol — namely, that Kelly's child once reached for a glass of champagne as a baby and had a "tiny bit."

"My kids have ordered non-alcoholic beers at restaurants before," Kristen replied. "Which sounds insane if you don't know, because context is important."
She went on to say that she and Dax would walk their kids around their neighborhood when her daughter was "really little." The Frozen star explained, "My husband and I when we walked the babies at night in our neighborhood when my daughter was really little. He is a recovering addict, but he likes non-alcoholic beer so he'd pop one open and he'd have her on his chest and we'd walk and look at the sunset."
"As a baby, she was pawing at it, and sometimes she'd suck on the rim of it. I think it feels to her like something special, something daddy, something family. There's no alcohol."
"We've been at restaurants where she's said, 'Do you have any non-alcoholic beer?' I'm like, 'Maybe we just keep that for home.' You can judge me if you want, I'm not doing anything wrong. That's your problem," she added.
This isn't the first time Kristen has spoken about her children's interest in NA beer, as she said in 2020 that she once walked in on her kids drinking O'Doul's in Zoom class. "There's nothing wrong with it. It's just essentially a bubbly juice. Right? There's nothing in it," she recalled at the time. "We also talk to them very much about his sobriety, and the importance of it, and why Daddy can't drink."
"If anything, it opens up the discussion for why Daddy has to drink non-alcoholic beer, because some people lose their privileges with drinking. Drinking's not always safe," she added.
