13 Times Celebs Called Out Their Exes On Social Media, From The Inspiring To The Slightly Pathetic

Be warned, some of these are toe-curlingly cringe.

    1. In response to a post that asked people to describe their last relationship in three words, Demi Lovato wrote, "My vibrator's better" — which many assumed to be a dig at their ex-fiancé, Max Ehrich.

    2. Amid the Tristan Thompson paternity scandal, Khloé Kardashian posted on Instagram: "Betrayal rarely comes from your enemies."

    3. Megan Fox posted a photo with her partner, Machine Gun Kelly, captioned, "Achingly Beautiful Boy....My heart is yours." Her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, then decided to post a series of photos of his kids with the caption, "Achingly beautiful boys......My heart is yours."

    4. After Pete Davidson poked fun at his broken engagement to Ariana Grande in a promo for SNL, she tweeted, "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh."

    5. Back in 2015, Kanye West made a number of derogatory comments about his ex, Amber Rose, in an interview — including saying, "I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim." Amber subsequently tweeted "I'll leave that up to the Kartrashians to humiliate u," referring to Kanye. She has since apologized, saying neither "Kim nor her sisters deserved that tweet."

@kanyewest I'll leave that up to the Kartrashians to humiliate u when they're done with u.

    6. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got into a huge Instagram spat in 2016 after Justin posted a series of pics with his girlfriend, Sophia Richie. Justin asked fans (presumably those commenting about Selena) to stop the "hate," to which Selena herself commented saying that maybe Biebs should stop posting pictures of his new girlfriend. JB then accused her of using him for attention, to which she replied, "Funny how the one that cheated multiple times [is] pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love."

    7. When Nicki Minaj announced her pregnancy on Instagram, her ex, Meek Mill, commented with a series of cry-laughing emojis — leading her to turn off comments.

    8. Saweetie tweeted about her breakup with rapper Quavo last year, writing, "Presents don't band aid scars and the love isn't real when the intimacy is given to other women."

    9. Iggy Azalea and Nick Young are no strangers to jabbing at each other following their breakup back in 2016, but perhaps no tweet is more memorable than Iggy writing, "I broke up with Nick because I found out he had brought other women into our home while I was away and caught them on the security footage."

    10. Bella Thorne and Tana Mongeau have both trodden down the tweeting-about-your-ex road many times, such as this 2019 Twitter argument that seems to be in reference to Tana being friends with Bella's ex, Mod Sun.

Tana and I are no longer good. She broke girl code I’m over it.

    11. If you're a fan of TikToker drama, back in 2020, Chase Hudson denied cheating on Charli D'Amelio — to which Charli tweeted, "Then you shouldn't have come to my house after without telling me."

    12. In 2016, Calvin Harris made a series of tweets about his ex, Taylor Swift, writing, "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do. I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it."

    13. Finally, when Rihanna took out all her exes in one fell swoop with this 2016 Instagram post:
