This is not a drill: New Beyoncé music will come barreling into our lives in mere weeks!
Yes, Bey's first solo album in over six years will arrive July 29. It's called Renaissance, will include 16 tracks, and is seemingly subtitled "Act One."
British Vogue's editor in chief, Edward Enninful, was treated to a listen of the new album as part of Bey's new cover story. He said of it, "Instantly, a wall of sound hits me. Soaring vocals and fierce beats combine and in a split second I’m transported back to the clubs of my youth. I want to get up and start throwing moves. It’s music I love to my core."
He continues, "The creation has been a long process, she explains, with the pandemic giving her far longer to spend thinking and rethinking every decision. Just the way she likes it."
However, it turns out that Beyoncé gave a cheeky hint that her new era might be titled Renaissance months ago. Back in August 2021, she was interviewed by Harper's Bazaar:

Subsequently, the words Bey chooses here — "escape," "travel," "love," and "laugh" — feel important when considering the direction of her new songs.
