If you're at all vaguely familiar with Ariana Grande, you may have noticed that the star appears to be a little more focused on her makeup line than music.
One user subsequently took to the comments to suggest that the makeup might not be exactly what they'd, err, signed up for:

In fact, Ariana said that she won't be working on new music until she's done with her role as Glinda in the upcoming Wicked adaptation. “That is going to have every piece of me, every minute, every ounce of my heart, my time, my soul, my everything that I can give it,” she said of the part, adding that she even took extra vocal lessons just to audition.
Besides, her album Positions came out in October 2020 — which really isn't that long ago in the grand scheme of pop music.
