When people think of the world 'holiday,' many of their minds do not usually spring to China...
However, there are so many reasons why you should stop what you are doing and book your ticket to China right now.
1. China is a destination country
City or beach break? Skiing or mountain climbing? Country retreat or jungle adventure? Sight-seeing or shopping? CHINA IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. The enormous country is jam-packed with an enormous amount of things to do and see, and has a different vacation-style for every taste. You could be sunning yourself on Hainan Island's sandy beaches and then skiing just outside of Beijing within the same week. Could you ask for anything more? Really?
You want a desert oasis? You sure? Because China has one of those too, so it really is no trouble.

2. It is a breathtakingly beautiful country.
Be it in the hustle and bustle of the city, or the silence and tranquility of the vast countryside, it is guaranteed that you will have your breath taken away on more than one occasion.
3. The history
Do I really need to explain why the history of China is a reason you should want to visit? Really? No, I thought not. You definitely knew that China has a rich, long and mysterious history dating back almost 5,000 years! You also definitely knew that there are way too many incredible historical sights for you to explore, and you definitely knew that you are going to want to see as many of them as you can.
4. The food, oh the food.
Forget your chicken chow mein's and your sweet and sour pork. Forget your lemon chicken and your prawn toast, because you haven't tasted real authentic Chinese food until you've been to China. That's all there is to it. Once you've tried it, you will never be able to return to that Chinese takeaway round the corner. I would just delete their number now...
5. To see all things weird and wonderful
You should go to China because no matter what happens, where you visit and who you meet, you are going to have a weird and wonderful experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. Be it seeing a baby pooping in the middle of a busy sidewalk, or crocodiles being on sale next to the chicken and beef at the supermarket, you will see things that you will only ever see in China. If that is not an incentive, I don't know what is.
