Here's An Easy Togepi Costume Anyone Can Make

Here's what your costume will look like when it's finished:

You'll be making the pattern on the skirt and the paper crown! Thanks to Arda Wigs for providing the Vivien Wig in Fairy Blonde.

1. Gather your supplies:

You'll need:

* A white dress, T-shirt, or tank top (ours is from H&M, $9.99).

* A sheet of red felt and a sheet of blue felt. We got ours at Michaels for $0.39 per sheet.

* A sheet of off-white scrapbook paper for the crown. We got this at Michaels too, $0.69.

* The cut-out Togepi crown pattern and triangle shape patterns from page 9 of the Pattern PDF.

Total for Togepi costume: $11.46

We didn't include the price of these basic crafting supplies in the estimate: scissors, a pencil, and a hot-glue gun with glue sticks.

2. Trace out the shapes and glue them on your skirt or shirt (click/tap on the individual photos throughout this post to get a larger photo and step-by-step instructions):
