    1. Make sweeper slippers your default shoe around your home, so you're always passively cleaning as you cook, walk to the bathroom, or TBH hanging out on your tile or wood floors, period.

    2. Leisurely dab up even the most impossible, old, set-in carpet stains with the help of a spray-and-blot spot remover.

    3. If you have pets that shed, use a rubber broom to pick up every last bit of fur from your carpets and your wood or tile floors.

    4. Tie two microfiber cloths to a pair of tongs so you can wipe both sides of your blinds at once.

    5. Dust your grimy ceiling fans with an old pillowcase to trap that dirt instead of brushing it into the air.

    6. Pop your vacuum filter in the dishwasher so it's ready for whatever dirty carpets and floors you need it to clean.

    7. While you're at it, run your air duct grates, stove vent hood filters, glass light bulb covers, and even stainless steel wrenches and screwdrivers through a dishwasher cycle.

    8. And when your air vents are clean and completely dry, wax them like you would your car, and they'll catch less dust.

    9. Wrap a ziplock bag filled with vinegar and a pinch of baking soda around your grimy shower head for 1–2 hours to make it look brand new.

    10. Majorly cut down on your elbow grease while still getting gaps, corners, hard water stains, and (if you dare) grout clean with an automatic scrubbing brush.

    11. Keep a dishwashing wand filled with vinegar and dish soap *in* your shower so you can quickly clean your tile and tub *while* you shower.

    12. If you have glass shower doors with lots of buildup, make 'em sparkle again with Bar Keepers Friend. Then make that work last with monthly coats of Rain-X.

    13. Save yourself lots of fruitless scrubbing with a toilet brush and use a pumice stone to quickly banish those impossible toilet rust and mineral rings.

    14. Then hang up a toilet refresher that'll help prevent that kind of buildup in the future, so you won't have to ever scrub so much again.

    15. Unscrew the toilet seat so you can wipe off every last bit of gunk buildup, then use a screwdriver and a cleaning wipe to get that narrow space under the tank.

    16. Pledge will both clean AND polish your stainless steel appliances in one fell swoop.

    17. Spray some fume-free oven cleaner into your grungy oven, literally go to bed, and simply wipe out the baked-on gunk in the morning.

    18. Shine up your cooktop or stove in 5 minutes: Drizzle on some Dawn and hydrogen peroxide, sprinkle with baking soda, and quickly scrub in circles with a dish brush.

    19. Wrap a damp cloth around a butter knife to clean that gross gap between your stove and countertop.

    20. Then seal that gap off with two flexible covers so it never gets gunky again.

    21. Make a white porcelain sink white again with the help of baking soda and just a little bit of hydrogen peroxide.

    22. Grind up ice, citrus peels, and peach pits if your garbage disposal's smelling a little funky.

    23. Put a few drops of mineral oil on a paper towel to easily wipe off that sticky dust that builds up on your range hood, kitchen cabinets, and small appliances.

    24. Mix baking soda with a few drops of essential oil and sprinkle that on your mattress to absorb any funky smells.

    25. And toss your pillows in the washer while the baking soda sits on your mattress to have a totally refreshed bed.

    26. A lint roller will pick up all the dust from your lampshades with just a few swipes...

    27. ...and make quick work of the dust and grime on your screen door and window screens.

    28. Get into every nook and cranny of your computer's keyboard or laptop with a dual-sided cleaning brush.

    29. Wipe out the dirt in your windowsill — then wrap a butter knife in a rag or microfiber cloth to scrape the crud out of all the little corners.

    30. Got rust stains and lime deposits in your dishwasher? Try running an empty load with lemon Kool-Aid instead of detergent.

    31. If your clothes washer has a funny smell, run it on an empty cycle with hot water and vinegar.

    32. Or if that only kinda works (or if you're the go-big-or-go-home type), use a washer cleaning tab.

You, walking through your sparkling clean home that didn't take ages to clean:
