Products so effective, the proof is in the pictures.

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

    1. A dual-ended hairbrush cleaning tool — as all neat-freaks know, it's nearly impossible to get every single last bit of grime up from a well-loved brush, but this will make it look brand new in literally less than five minutes.

It has a narrowly-pointed plastic scraper end perfect for raking up hair from the base then pulling it all the way off the brush. Plus two separate bristles sections (they're stiff for effectiveness, but won't damage the pins even on your pricier brushes): one narrow row designed for scrubbing off any lingering dust and gunk stuck at the base and sides of a row of your hairbrush's bristles, and one wider triangular section for scrubbing the sides and handle of your brush, if needed.

Promising review: "I have very long hair that seems to trap thing like dust, stuffing fluff, cat hair, small children, etc. My Wet Brush — for all of you also have one you know how dingy they get just after one use — was a safe haven for all of this. I try to pick out my hair after brushing, but the nest of leave-in conditioner and fluff holds on like magnets. With some Windex, warm water and three minutes of scrubbing, my brush looks brand new. It's easy enough to do once a week. Don't be afraid to get a little aggressive with the scrubbing, it will work out in your favor." —Katie S.

Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

    2. A Bed Head Waver so you can rock loose waves at work today, tighter nearly-curls for brunch next weekend, and the perfect in-between mermaid texture for your beachside Instagram photoshoot over vacation. How can a single tool be so flexible, you ask? It's all thanks to its adjustable tourmaline plates.

The cord swivels so it won't get all twisted as you make your way through your mane, and you can choose from several heat levels. Even better: it automatically shuts off so you don't have to post a giant sticky note on your back door reminding you to turn it off before you leave.

Promising review: "I love the speed with which I can do my hair with this waver. Using a traditional curling iron takes me much longer and often gives my hair that overstyled, helmet head look. This gives me loose beach waves that look just messy enough to come across as natural. I have short hair and it's great for my length. I highly recommend." —BeckyfromBama

Get it from Amazon for $39.11.

    3. A tongue scraper because it can remove any lurking gunk or grime with a few quick, gentle swipes... and all without triggering that gag reflex.

Promising review: "It's hard to review this product without grossing people out but I think the truth needs to get out. There is some nasty stuff on your tongue that a toothbrush cannot remove, especially in the back. This thing allows you to remove it easily without gagging yourself by trying to shove a toothbrush down your throat. I was definitely surprised the first time I used it how much material I removed, and yes that stuff smells bad. After that first time I couldn't get anywhere near as much off of my tongue which tells me that the material had been there a while. My breath is noticeably better now. This is a very simple tool and it cleans up well since it's just a piece of stainless steel and rubber handles." —Amazon Customer

Get it on Amazon for $2.29.

    4. A bottle of cold-pressed, certified-organic rosehip oil, which can help reduce both acne and dry patches and brighten your entire complexion overall, no matter your skin type.

Pat just two or three drops over your face up to twice a day to start to see results! (Although as with all skincare, YMMV; if you're worried about breaking out, try patch testing first.)

Promising review: "Figured I could risk $15... And holy cannoli I am so glad I did. Within two days (TWO DAYS!!!) of using this on my face I saw a difference. I have extremely sensitive, easily irritated skin. So I generally have redness on my cheeks and nose all the time. I also get cystic acne bumps that take weeks to dissipate. NOT ANYMORE!! Those vanish within a couple days and are nowhere near as painful and visible. The redness is gone, my pores are smaller, there are no little bumps of uneven skin, my skin tone is even, and my face and neck are astonishingly soft. It absorbs easily, doesn't make me feel greasy, and is quite possibly as close to a magic potion as I have found. If you're in doubt, don't be, BUY THIS." —Emily

    5. A powerful no-rinse stain remover — it can conquer almost any seemingly-impossible mess you throw at it. Simply spritz it on, wait a second, then blot it up to see the stain truly vanish like magic.,

It works on both old and new stains (including red wine!), and on any color-safe fabric that you can safely wet with water (read: not dyed silk or wool, probs, or anything that says "dry clean only").

Promising review: "I had terrible rust and oil stains all over the seats of my car. I tried other cleaners to get them out, but they actually made the stains darker. I took it to the dealership to see if they could get it out and they flat out told me no, so I gave up and lived with it for almost five years. Then I tried this after it was recommended by a friend. I sprayed it on and literally watched the stain run right off my seat. It was amazing! I thought I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars to replace the seats in my car because nothing else would work. This stuff really is awesome!" —Brittany

    6. A pot lid rack and vertical pan organizer because the first step to make both cooking and cleaning up from it less of a chore is to sort everything so you can get to it without causing an even bigger mess.

Promising review: "A simple solution to a complex problem. Our cabinet that held the pans and lids turned into an avalanche of despair every time we wanted to use a pan. We gave up on trying to find the correct lid. Now we have a simple stack of pans in the cabinet with biggest on the bottom and smallest on top with their corresponding lids hanging in the same order from the door. My wife is still wondering what to do with the extra time and lack of stress every time she goes to grab a pan or lid." —AmosJK

Promising review: "I could not get my flatware to come out clean from the dishwasher and I wondered if it was the hard water. I was using up to three soap blocks in each load with only partial improvement. I used this the first time and voilà! Perfectly clean flatware for the first time. I LOVE this!" —Susan A

    Even better: it's cruelty-free!

Promising review: "I have exclusively used Urban Decay Primer Potion for the entirety of my twenties. This stuff works just as well and is WAY cheaper. I posted a pic of an eyeshadow look, but the look isn’t what’s important. What’s important is that this matte eyeshadow did. not. crease. I even had lunch outside in the Alabama humidity. I am so impressed." —Lizzie

Get it on Amazon for $13.06.

    9. A concrete oil stain remover so your driveway, garage, sidewalk, or patio can always look just as pristine as it did the day it was poured (or, well, after it dried). And you barely have to lift a finger, because you literally just douse the stain with it and wait.

Okay so maybe most of us don't have driveways with stains on 'em, but STILL, the photos are so satisfying! It doesn't contain bleach, acid, or other hazardous just gets the job done.

Promising review: "Changed the oil on my girlfriends car and some oil spilled on my NEW driveway...which I didn't notice until four days later. Four spots all about the size of a dollar bill baking in the Arizona sun for four days. Put the stuff on — sits on the stain like pancake batter (don't be afraid to pour liberally) — and let it sit from 6 p.m. 'till about 9 a.m. the next day. It dried and the instructions said to just sweep the stuff up. Well it broke apart with the broom and the stains were gone, so I just swept up the powder pieces. Took about a minute. I WAS SHOCKED — something that actually works on oil — and its easy. Absolutely NO sign of anything that was there." —AmazonBob

Promising review: "Jeez! My headlights haven’t looked this great since I bought my 2003 Toyota truck! The process was much easier than I anticipated. Everything you need is in the box except for water, a bucket, and some elbow grease. At first I thought the product was not going to work but then I applied the the Plast-X cleaner and polish — stunning results! Although they only last about a year, I feel an annual re-cleaning of the headlights should be even easier if done regularly. I have enough left over to do at least one more cleaning." —Gregory J. I have a lot of small bathroom items (moisturizers, lotions, body sprays, etc.), and I have no drawers, so I had to find a solution. Promising review: "I was laying awake at night wishing there was something I could do to make my hellish alarm clock less bright. I was really pleasantly surprised when I found out this product existed. I'm SO HAPPY that it does. I seriously don't know where my fiancé bought this alarm clock, but it has four brightness settings and they range from light house search light to surface of the sun. I cut one of these sheets and smoothed it over the display and it's AMAZING. I can still read the clock during the day, but at night it's now just the right brightness so I can see the time, but not burn my retinas when I crack my eyes open in the middle of the night." —Tiffany Marie

I mean sure, the shower helps some! But it's no match for this gem, which is safe to use on cotton, wool, linen, nylon blends, and sequins and beads. And — although the listing doesn't explicitly say so — many reviewers safely use it on silk (you'd just want to make sure the dyes wouldn't spot, first).

Promising review: "This little thing is fantastic!! Its amazingly simple to use: just fill with water, plug it in, flip the switch to 'on' and give it about a minute. So far I've used it on my work shirts and pants but fully plan on using it on anything that isn't synthetic. Depending on how set in the wrinkles are you can get about 2–3 shirts done on a single fill, but once you refill you don't have to wait as long for it to be ready to use again. The photos I've attached are of a shirt that was brand new out of the packaging so the wrinkles were pretty set in, but after about two minutes it was fully work ready. I have a ton of weddings requiring overnight travel this year and this will definitely be coming to all of them." —Ruari O'Shea

It grossed me out so much that I bought another mug to replace it. Eventually they both got black inside, so I tried these little magic tablets. I let one sit in each of my mugs for an hour or two, and the black sludge rinsed out COMPLETELY, without even scrubbing. They look brand new. No weird smell or taste afterward, either. Promising review: "I have rescue poodles. Any poodle owner can tell you about cleaning poodle ears. It's...nasty. But when you add years of neglect on top of already prone-to-funk ears it's just terrible. Stressful cleanings were part of our lives until I tried this stuff. I have no idea how it works but it's MAGICAL. You squirt it in, smoosh it around, and the ick just starts wiping right off. I had awful calluses and cracks on my heels that even the pros couldn't get rid of when I had a pedi. The price scared me but I tried it anyways, and I am so glad that I did. My foot skin melted off. it was so so so strange. And my heels were super soft and beautiful afterwards. This was months ago, now, and I just keep up with a pumice stone. While not a replacement for seeing your local barber, this inexpensive device helps tremendously and takes the guesswork out of creating nice clean lines and parity on both sides of your face. I which I had availed myself of this much sooner. Well worth the nominal investment!" —JJ The Red

    36. A bottle of Goo Gone — it makes removing everything from tape residue to mysterious sticky substances to old bumper stickers quick and painless.

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing. So far, I have used it to remove heavy adhesive from a tile floor where we had previously had a cover for a wire running across the area. I applied Goo Gone, scraped the majority of the adhesive and fibers off, then wiped off the remaining residue with a paper towel. I also used it to clean grease off of wood veneer cabinets using a paper towel, and it was so effortless! We have a microwave above the stove, and I also used Goo Gone to clean grease from the exhaust vents, which was so much easier than ever before." —Cass

    37. A pet hair brush with retractable bristles so you can seriously cut down on your feline or Fido's shedding without spending more than ten seconds cleaning up the aftermath.

You simply press a button on the handle and the bristles retract, letting you wipe all the accumulated fur in the trash or compost. The brush is designed to gently remove loose hair; work through tangles, knots, and trapped dirt; and reach deep into the undercoat without scratching your pet's skin.

Promising review: "My dogs are short haired dogs but they still shed like crazy! I have found this product to be very helpful in 1) keeping their coats shiny and healthy and 2) reducing the amount of shedding! My dogs can be rather sensitive to brushing but they don't mind at all when I use this brush. I quite like the easy way to clean the brush. It works well and helps contain the hair until it can be deposited directly into the trash. Other products I've used would get hair built up between the bristles that I would have to sit and pick out — time consuming. Glad to have an easy tool my dogs don't mind. Excellent product!" —Amazon Customer

    38. A two-sided tea organizer because your collection of all your favorite blends doesn't actually have to take up quite so much shelf square footage.

It holds over 100 tea bags total, and features 12 removable clear plastic bins to make it easy to grab exactly what you want.

Promising review: "Do I really need a tea bag organizer? That's what I was thinking when I ordered this. And when I took it out of the box. And when I filled the first little bag holder. But as the pile of empty boxes grew larger, I knew the answer was yes, I do need a tea bag organizer. I was using a whole shelf and a half of jumbled tea boxes which I had to sift through to look for a specific tea. In the end, I think this held about eight or nine boxes of tea bags (I crammed some of them). I am so happy that I got this!" —Sarah C.

    39. A wood polish and conditioner that practically erases damage as if it was never there, like your antique beside tables that have had one too many water glasses sweat on them overnight.

Promising review: "OMG! This is the most AMAZING product! We inherited some antique furniture from the '30s that had been in storage forever... it was dry and dirty and not much to look at. I used this product on it and the oak wood literally came alive showing the beautiful grain and texture of the wood. I have since used it on my oak kitchen cabinets and they look AMAZING! I will never use anything else other than this product on my wood surfaces! No greasy feel... fantastic smell!" —Tiffany Sadowski

    40. A pack of three flexible cable protectors so you can extend the life of your fraying phone charger just a liiiiittle bit longer, and put the other two over either end of your okay-for-now laptop charger. An ounce of prevention never hurt!

Promising review: "I hate to recall how many new iPhone chargers and MacBook power bricks I've had to buy over the years as the originals gradually frayed at the connector ends until they stopped working altogether. These inexpensive little coils wind right around the connector base and first half inch or so of the cord to keep it from bending and ultimately breaking at the join. Genius." —ElleNWC

Plus it'll reduce the amount of dirt and bacteria that tend to accumulate on makeup tools over time. (Oh, and it's cruelty-free.)

Promising review: "This stuff is great. I had never cleaned my brushes before (gross, I know) and this stuff got them so clean so fast. I didn't even remember most brushes were two-toned because they were all makeup colored for so long. I can't believe the nastiness that came off my brushes. I was putting all that old stuff all over my face!" —Echo

    42. An automatic scrubbing brush because you can just lazily move it back and forth over your dingy, dirty grout (or any other stubborn, stuck-on mess you encounter) while it scrubs *sixty times each second* for you.

It's like a giant electric toothbrush, but y'all, I own one and it REALLY works. You literally see the dirt come up and the grout lighten with just 30 seconds of use. They make a specialty grout head you can buy for it, but TBH the default brush works just as well, unless you have incredibly narrow grout lines.

Promising review: "Last night I was reborn. Everything I'd experienced up until that point suddenly was just 'before.' The present and future seemed like a beautiful, promising 'after.' 'What is the cause of this renewed zest for life?' you might ask. It was the use of the Rubbermaid Reveal Power Scrubber on my shower grout. It elevated a simple baking soda and water solution to alchemical proportions. This thing is nirvana. My pink-tiled shower, which never looks clean no matter how many hours of backbreaking and bicep-burning labor I put in, now looks bright, clean, full of promise. An otherwise disgusting and dated purely utilitarian part of my home is now art. This this is absolutely incredible. Buy it, see for yourself. 11/10 would recommend." —Amazon Customer
