Aries astrology represents fire in it’s most pure form, being the most active, interested in everything and adventurous, like a small fire that’s ignited in a fireplace full of kindling. It’s where and how Aries childlike qualities and raw enthusiasm originate.

The first earth sign, Taurus is the most stable and the strongest.  
Ruled by the physical senses, they are the epitome of the physical body. It is also the first of the fixed signs.  
Taurus are famous for their stubborn nature and their unwillingness to change and would have a hard time to do so.  
Taurus is earthy, sensual and wants harmony and happiness, holding tight to the people and the things in their life.

The first air sign, Mercury-ruled Gemini is the most flighty, like the wind that forms a dust devil, picking up debris in a strong gust, swirling with it and then letting it go, exploring off to another region. When forced to slow down, it has a hard time. It cannot for long and does not know what to do.  
Gemini never feels complete and the mutable sign Gemini, the sign of duality is always on the search for something, trying to find that one person or thing that will complete them.

Like the sun, Leo is stable and radiant and helps to keep others under control, providing a solid foundation. Leo is steady, dependable, grand and makes its presence known.

Scorpio represents the power that water potentially has. If not properly contained, it can continuously wreak havoc on everything in its path.  
Scorpio is loyal, full of energy and intensity and is similar to a raging river.  
One of the fixed signs, Scorpio, with intense emotions, needs control and has to be under self-control; all the energy has to be harnessed to be effective, like putting a hydroelectric dam on the raging river.

Sagittarius is the most gentle of the three fire astrology signs, symbolic of fire slowly going out as it nears its end.

Capricorn is the earth in it’s most basic and purest form. With a strong sense of high-level professionalism in their lives, the Capricorn sun sign has many sides and takes an interest in everything from materialistic possessions to stable to being a potent status symbol.  
One of the cardinal signs, Saturn-ruled Capricorn is lead through order and discipline. They can be dark, not in a wicked sense, but in a sad sort of way since they are very conservative and have a difficult time with pleasure since they are so concerned and involved in their work.

Aquarius is the last and the highest air element. Aquarius is the powerful force that makes the world go around, like the jet stream. It has the power to change areas, and it does, Aquarius is the sign of change and originality. Aquarius seeks to understand and to knock down of barriers, like the jet stream that circulates air from one corner of the world to the other necessarily uniting everyone and everything. The final water sign and one of the mutable signs, Pisces is represented by the small creek, by piling up a handful of dirt, you can make it flow another direction when it rains, it can flow north when it generally flows south because the rainwater overtakes it.  
Pisces is overly flexible and too adaptable, being mutable water.
