Samuel L. Jackson will return as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s well-traveled veteran, Nick Fury, in the new Disney+ series Secret Invasion.

With 15 years of Marvel movies under his eye patch, Nick Fury has been all over the world. First, he appeared in the shadows of Iron Man’s living room back in 2008 and then eventually hid out on a space station in the most recent MCU titles.

While he’s emerged in most MCU movies, Sam revealed to Entertainment Tonight where he would like the character to appear next. "I don't know, it's kind of up and down for me in an interesting sort of way," he said. "Because, if I had it my way, I would've been in every Marvel movie 'cause I mean, he is Nick Fury, he knows everything that's going on."

“I'm still trying to figure out why I've never been to Wakanda,” he said. "They didn't ask me to go, but I'm still trying to get there. I need a ticket."

It’s wild to think that despite all the cameos and surprise visits from the character throughout the franchise, he’s never ventured to the elusive Wakanda, featured in The Black Panther films.

It may not be Wakanda, but Secret Invasion will place Nick in the present-day MCU to protect Earth from an invasion of by shapeshifting Skrulls. He will reunite with War-Machine (Don Cheadle), Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), and the friendly Skull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn).
