Franz Ferdinand Using Bones As Percussion On New Record?
Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos announced that the group had completed its third album, titled Tonight, at an intimate show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on October 8, 2008.
Kapranos talked about their experimental recording sessions with Tonight producer Dan Carey, which found them using human bones as percussion instruments on "Kiss Me." The album is said to have a nighttime feel, hence the title, and is released on Domino in January 2009.
