Space launches in the interests of the Pentagon were threatened
American aerospace companies SpaceX, United Launch Alliance (ULA) and Aerojet Rocketdyne (AR), which carry out orders for the launch of military satellites, allow numerous violations in the work, according to the report of the Pentagon's inspector general. The inspectors found 181 non-compliance with the aerospace industry standard AS9100 at the production facilities of these companies. So, in the SpaceX hangars, the Merlin missile engines proved to be improperly protected - nozzles and ventilation pipes did not cover the covers. In areas where it is forbidden to store foreign objects, inspectors found cans with soda and personal belongings of employees. In a similar zone, AR found garbage and animal feces, in addition, inspectors drew attention to "bad bolts" in a number of designs.
