Shaochilong maortuensis

Shaochilong maortuensis (lat.) - A kind of dinosaurs, theropods from the family Carcharodontosauridae, who lived in the Cretaceous (Turonian age) in the territory of modern China. Rod isolated in 2009 by a group of scientists: S. L. Brusatte, R. B. J. Benson, D. J. Chure, X. Xu, C. Sullivan and D. W. E. Hone. The generic name is translated from Chinese means "dragon akulozuby» (Shāyú (shao) - shark, Yáchǐ (chi) - tooth and Lóng (Long) - Dragon).
