Scientists: Southern Hemisphere of the Earth to recover from the asteroid, had destroyed the dinosaurs

The reason for the extinction of dinosaurs on Earth, most scientists believe the fall of a giant asteroid near Yucatan Peninsula in modern Mexico about 66 million years ago. And for a long time it was believed that life on the planet took about nine million years to recover from the disaster. However, recently the American scientists have found that recovery times are in different regions vary, and, for example, an insect in the Southern Hemisphere it took for that much less time. Make these findings help researchers trace the ancient meal hungry insects left on fossilized leaves later. The latter were found in South America.
