Lake Name Nook (Nuokiyarvi) or Nyukozera translated from Karelian language as "Swan Lake", one name delighting the ear and causing the association with fabulous margins, which on the mirrored surface of forest lake slip white and black swans. Fearful birds rarely delight visitors eye, but in relation to the protected beauty and location among ancient pines, the association fails.
