Japanese ship failed experiment to collect space debris
Japanese cargo spacecraft "Konotori-6" was not able to fulfill one of the main missions - an experiment to collect space debris. "Konotori-6" was to release a metal cable length of 700 meters, on which was supposed to put an electric current for braking the debris in orbit. Japanese engineers were confident that with the current cable would be to attract dust and debris, pushing them to the side of the earth in order that they have begun to fall and burned in the atmosphere. Large debris that failed to disappear in the fall, were drowned in the Pacific Ocean.
