In China, fossilized dinosaur eggs of 70 million years

Five dinosaur eggs, estimated to be 70 million years old, were found in sandstone in Foshan City, in the Chinese province of Guangdong at a depth of eight meters. According to the researchers, they were there from the end of the Cretaceous period. The diameter of the eggs is about 14-15 centimeters. Eggs were found in a large piece of red sandstone extracted during construction work. Without a peer-reviewed check, scientists can not yet accurately name the age of the eggs, and also what kind they belonged to. Fossils are being studied now in the local museum, and although it is necessary to wait for the results of the study, this is not the first time the dinosaur eggs that were discovered in this part of China. Eggs of dinosaurs have been found in this part of the world since the 1980s.
