Energy ISS system receives major update

Two spacewalks from the International Space Station is scheduled for January to carry out an important upgrade of energy generation systems orbiting laboratory. The astronauts of Expedition 50 will extend beyond the station 6 and 13 January to replace the old nickel-hydrogen batteries with new lithium-ion batteries.
