Between the Earth and the Moon a small asteroid will fly by

Asteroid recently discovered by astronomers will fly today between the Earth and the Moon. The space "rock" will fly at a speed of 21,363 miles per hour. The closest to our planet, the asteroid will be at 16:56 on December 28. The asteroid, named 2017 YZ4, was completely invisible to astronomers before Christmas. NASA notes that it tracks all asteroids six million miles from our planet. For the first time, the 2017 YZ4 was discovered by experts at the Observatory on Mount Lemmon in Arizona, writes The Sun. According to NASA, the new asteroid can not be called giant, its diameter is only 7 to 15 meters. The publication notes that, although the asteroid is relatively small, it could cause minor damage.
