12 Reasons Why Harry Kane Is The Saviour Of English Football

He's one of their own. Tottenham's Harry Kane has picked up the Barclays Player of the Month award for the second month running having scored four and set one up in February. With 16 goals in the Premier League this season and 26 in all competitions, the 21-year-old is expected to receive his first senior England call up when the squad is announced next Thursday. 5. He’s also Superman.

    6. And Jesus.

    7. And the president.

    8. Following indifferent loan spells with Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester, he’s an inspiration to all young players struggling to get a big break.

    9. Just when you think he’s about to start a dry spell, he smashes another great goal in.
