17 Times Jerry From "Parks And Rec" Got What He Deserved

"You are an intelligent, charismatic, beautiful superhero."

I think we can all agree that Parks and Rec remains one of the greatest accomplishments of the 21st century. Every episode gives you that happy, fuzzy feeling that warms you up like a mug of hot cocoa.

But why the heck is everyone so mean to Jerry?! Sure, he has a tendency to say the wrong thing or commit the occasional faux pas. But aren’t we all a bit awkward at times? We’re only human.

If you felt bad for Jerry, too, you’ll appreciate all the times Parks and Rec characters were actually nice to him!

    1. When Leslie visited Jerry's home and allowed herself to be squeezed into a Gergich family sandwich.

    2. When Ben invited Jerry to fill in for Leslie during a string of anniversary surprises.

    3. When April, Andy, and Tom gave Jerry the $518 they saved up by donating a dollar each time Jerry did something silly.

    4. When Chris offered Jerry some truly kind words and asked him to become Head of Public Relations.

    5. When the gang refused to laugh at Jerry splitting his pants and farting during a presentation.

    6. When the golf cart couldn't move due to excess weight so Leslie pretended Tom was the problem.

    7. When the team threw Jerry a Sweet 16 surprise party.

    8. When Ron walked into the office and spoke to Jerry like a friend.

    9. When Ben stood on a chair to declare to the world that Jerry was his friend.

    10. When Leslie made this adorable pillow for Jerry after he was "mugged."

    11. When Donna decided to actually invite Jerry to Jerry Dinner.

    12. When Ann and Leslie decked out Jerry's hospital room after his heart attack (that they caused).

    13. When Chris and the boys toasted Jerry with ice cream cones.

    14. When Leslie held a fundraiser to cover Jerry's medical bills.

    15. When Donna wrote "Garry" on Jerry's seating card at her wedding so everyone would unknowingly call him by his real name.

    16. When Ben recommended Jerry as the new mayor of Pawnee.

    17. Finally, who could forget when the writers of the show felt so bad for Jerry that they made him the most well-endowed man in Pawnee?!
