In 2021, the Selling Sunset star was criticized for returning to work 10 days after an emergency C-section. "I love to work," she told E! News' Daily Pop. "There are single moms out there every single day working two, three jobs, doing it. Women are so strong, and they can do it. For me, I'm happy to be working. I'm thrilled to have a job, and I'm thrilled to have a baby and be able to do it all. I think that's really the message here: Women really can do it all, so don't be shaming!"

Christine was also accused of using a surrogate, faking her pregnancy, and setting "unrealistic expectations for PP moms" (post-pregnancy mothers). In her IG story, Christine reposted one of the mom-shaming messages she received and added the caption, "K y'all are beyond fucking sick." ...and to clarify, I had a nursing tank top on and was seated away from others. It’s not like I walked into the crowd and whipped my tits out. Being a mom is hard enough. Can we not judge one another for how we feed our babies? 😤🤯
