Grocery Shopping at Walmart?
As a college student with a tight budget I'm always looking for opportunities to keep my weekly grocery store trips as cheap as possible. The great city of Charlotte helped me out on this mission by recently opening the university area's first Walmart Neighborhood Market. The store opened on Nov. 16, 2016, and has since provided University City residents with an affordable grocery shopping experience.
Walmart Neighborhood Market is Wal-Mart Inc.'s branch of full-service grocery stores. Customers have access to a deli, bakery, pharmacy, and all the products one would find in a traditional grocery store, but at Walmart prices.
Having been to the location on North Tryon Street several times myself, I can attest the cleanliness and organization of the store. The produce section is chock-full of fresh fruits and vegetables, and the refrigerated section even carries several non-dairy and vegetarian options. The best part is being able to find all of these items at a fraction of what they would cost at large competitors like Harris Teeter.
The store is open from 6 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week, making it easy to get your grocery shopping done whenever is convenient for you.
