Tom Holland Admitted The Biggest Difference Between Him And Spider-Man

"I can't understand [it] about him."

Tom Holland has been playing Peter Parker/Spider-Man for three years now, so it's no surprise he's found some commonalities with the popular character.

In a recent interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Tom talked about what he loves most about Spider-Man and the many similarities they share.

"Peter Parker is just a young, happy-go-lucky, innocent kid at his core. I feel like I’m pretty much the same at heart."

"Of course, he’s always dealing with a lot of heavy things, but he retains a childlike wonder, which I think is so important."

But there's one major characteristic Tom just can't seem to relate to: the fact that Peter Parker keeps Spider-Man identity a secret.

"The only thing I can’t understand about him is this: If I found out that I had super powers, I’d tell the world immediately."

"I’d tell everyone. Don’t get me wrong. The fact that he keeps it a secret to keep people around him safe does feel good on a certain level."

"It’s good that he’s protective of his friends. He does right with his powers and helps people, which is amazing."

The fact that Tom would immediately blab about having powers, probably doesn't surprise anyone. We all know Tom is the absolute WORST at keeping secrets.

But it's sweet to see how much he connects with the character. You can catch more of Tom Holland when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters July 2.
