There Was Another "Game Of Thrones"–Style Killing In "Snowfall," And I'm Hurt

    It's Thursday, so you know what that means: It's time for another Snowfall recap!

    Here's a quick rundown of what happened in Season 4, Episode 6 — "Say a Little Prayer." 🚨SPOILERS AHEAD🚨If you haven't watched it yet, you might not want to keep scrolling.

    By now, you should know we can't start an episode without some drama, and this one begins with Reed finding out that his brother is dead.

    This scene was cold in so many ways! Not only did his estranged father notify him about his brother's death the day AFTER his funeral, but he also told him that his brother has been dead for TWO WEEKS! And if that wasn't bad enough, Reed's father ended the call by saying, "It should've been you." If that isn't a way to break someone's spirit, I don't know what is.

    The search for Leon continues, and now that the police have his fingerprints, the gangs aren't the only ones after him.

    Franklin gets a visit from Detective Stern about Leon's whereabouts. Franklin refuses to snitch, so Detective Stern lets him know they won't back down until they find Leon.

    Later, Franklin updates Leon on what happened with Detective Stern. He then comes up with the idea to have Fatback take the fall for Leon.

    Meanwhile, Khadijah is growing impatient with Skully and Manboy.

    Skully and Manboy promised they'd find Leon and make him pay, but they haven't held up their end of the bargain. Skully thinks the death of his daughter is God's way of punishing him for killing that man and hanging him on a cross. While her brother, Manboy, seems to be more worried about finding Franklin's plug than his niece's killer.

    It was this very scene and that look that made me realize Khadijah was about to take matters into her own hands.

    As for Fatback, I don't know how it was so easy, but somehow they convinced him to take the fall for Leon.

    I COULD NEVER!! Take a murder charge — the murder of a child — for a friend?! Nope. Nah. No way! But the rules of the streets are different I guess, because Fatback agreed to turn himself in for Tiana's murder in exchange for a lesser charge. Franklin and Leon also promised to take care of his family financially while he's locked up.

    So with Fatback locked up and Leon on the run, how will they expand their business? That's where Louie and Jerome come in.

    Remember last week when Louie suggested they expand their business in Little Rock because she had family that she could trust? Well baby, this is them. Louie and Jerome went there to teach them how to cook the product and explain best practices when it comes to selling, but you could easily tell that this wasn't going to be the right move. Something tells me their son Charles will be the biggest problem of them all, because he's desperate to try the product despite Louie warning him not to.

    Jerome doesn't think they'll be able to handle it. After revealing his doubts, Louie tries to ease his anxiety by telling him everything will be alright because they have Reed on their side. She let him know Reed was CIA.

    Speaking of not smoking crack, Wanda was released from the hospital, which means she'll have to try to stay clean on her own.

    I am really rooting for Wanda's recovery, because I don't want to see her go out like that. Unfortunately, she's burned so many bridges that she now has nowhere to sleep. But through it all, there's always been one person she could count on: Leon. Because he's dealing with his own drama, Leon tells Wanda to stay at Alton's shelter until things get better.

    And remember when I said Khadijah was ready to take matters into her own hands? Well, she did!

    Khadijah bailed Fatback out of jail without him knowing. When it was time for him to be picked up from jail, a woman was waiting for him. What he thought was a surprise threesome set up by Franklin and Leon really turned out to be a fatal setup by Khadijah. She concocted her own chloroform formula and rendered Fatback unconscious. After waking up and still not providing her with any clues to Leon's whereabouts, she stabbed him to death.

    You know what they say, "If you want something done right, do it yourself."

    While that was happening, Franklin was laying up with his ex-girlfriend, Tanosse.

    Listen, they look great together, but I don't trust her at all! While they were pillow-talking, Tanosse asked about Reed — probably because he showed up to the club (that she now works at) and got really drunk. He confronted Franklin about making mistakes, which was also Reed's way of condemning himself for his brother's death. Franklin obviously didn't tell her who Reed really was, but her asking just made me even more suspicious of her.

    Their pillow talk is interrupted when Franklin gets a page from his lawyer, explaining that Fatback was released on bail without him knowing. Franklin finds Fatback's body outside.

    Finally, the episode ends with Irene making another return to Alton's shelter.

    Just as Wanda was getting situated in the shelter, Irene stopped by to pay Alton a visit. This time, she threatened him to give her information. She ultimately knew the CIA was behind the drug epidemic in their neighborhood, so if Alton decided not to talk, then she'd switch her focus from the CIA to his family. Irene said she'd return the following day for information. I'm just hoping she doesn't tempt Wanda with drugs or money to get information out of her. LEAVE HER ALONE!
