Say it ain't so! After 11 years of marriage, Shameless star Steve Howey and The L Word star Sarah Shahi have called it quits.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Sarah filed for divorce on May 4 — citing irreconcilable differences.
They are the proud parents of three children: 10-year-old William Wolf and 5-year-old fraternal twins Violet Moon and Knox Blue.
Sarah has petitioned for joint legal and physical custody of their children, according to the court documents obtained by ET.
And shortly after the news broke about their divorce, Sarah and Steve released this joint statement to Us Weekly:
After much thought and consideration, we have decided to end our marriage. We are so grateful for the past 10 years together and proud of our children that we’ve raised. As we enter into this new phase of our lives, our priority will remain co-parenting our children with so much love, mutual respect, and friendship. And though our relationship is changing, we are committed to continuing our lives as a loving family.
For those who don't know, the two first met on the set of Reba back in 2004, when Sarah guest-starred on the show.
