It's been seven years since we we last saw the Russo family conjuring up magic and getting into sticky situations, all while making us laugh on Wizards of Waverly Place.
Since then, Selena Gomez went on to dominate the music charts and box-office and David Henrie got married in 2017 and became a father. But that doesn't mean they've forgotten about those Disney Channel days.
In fact, they've thought about bringing it back. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, David revealed he talks about Wizards of Waverly Place reboots with Selena "all the time."
"It's not formal. But, Selena and I sit and talk about what would the reboot be, and we have a whole take. We have a whole thing."
"Alex is a fashionista, off killing it in some other part of the realm. Justin's, like, the principal [of WizTech] who has a family now… [Jake T. Austin's] Max has the sub shop, but it's run down. Start us all completely discombobulated and then throughout the course of the series you bring us all together."
And this isn't the first time David and Selena pondered about their characters' futures. Back in 2017, the former co-stars got together to reminisce about the past and imagine a new future.
It looks like Selena saw Alex single at 25 and still figuring the world out, while Justin was busy dealing with his 15 children.
Although there hasn't been any official word on whether a Wizards of Waverly Place reboot will actually take place, it's exciting to know the stars of the show are interested in the idea.
