"Never Have I Ever" Star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan Is Urging Fans To Not Take Pictures Of Her While She's Eating, Because She Finds It Really, Really Creepy

    "Let me eat in peace."

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan has a message for those fans who'd rather sneak a picture instead of just politely asking her for one.

When it comes to fame, celebrities sign an invisible contract to have their privacy invaded, but that doesn't mean they can't set their own boundaries.

And that's just what Maitreyi is trying to do with her fans! On Saturday, the Never Have I Ever star shared on Twitter that she noticed fans taking pictures of her while she was eating. And for her, that's a big N-O.

She emphasized that there's a time and a place.

Although she realizes the sacrifices that come with stardom, Maitreyi still believes there are limits — and fans seeing her with her "food baby" is one of them.

But she isn't the first celeb to speak out about this. Cole Sprouse even dedicated an entire Instagram account to "the people out there who secretly take photos of me, and how I take photos of them first. May the fastest camera win."

He accompanies every "duel" with a detailed description of how they tried to capture a photo of him:

And when a fan commented on how interactive Maitreyi is with her fans and how sorry she was about people invading her privacy, she revealed she's still "always down for a photo," despite some bad experiences.

Well, I appreciate her honesty! I think all celebrities should express their boundaries with fans publicly, so that they can hopefully respond/act accordingly.

And if you want to see Maitreyi express her mind a little more, be sure to check her out in the final season of Never Have I Ever, which is now streaming on Netflix.
