Last night on Insecure, we finally got the Lawrence/Condola mess that we rightfully deserved! Baby Elijah is here, and neither of them were prepared to see each other again, let alone be co-parents.

The series showrunner, Prentice Penny, even let the audience know what they were trying to convey with this episode...

We really wanted to test Condola saying last season “I don’t need you. Be involved as much or as little as you want” this episode was about saying be careful what you wish for if it’s not honest. And also Lawrence needing to own his part. #InsecureHBO

    It's fair! Condola dealt with the pregnancy by herself, she needs time to adjust to his recent interest in the baby.
