After he unexpectedly dies that day, he wakes up about 100 years later to find out he’s been brought back as a computer rather than a human. He then goes off into space to explore new worlds, since the Earth is dying, and he eventually builds more of himself. The book is told from the perspective of each 'Bob.'

I know Netflix signed a deal to make this a few years ago, but nothing ever came of it. It would be a cool show, although one actor would need to play about 30 different roles."

Believe it or not, it's the most hilarious book I've ever read (some chapters really made me weep from laughing too much), and I think it could be a great TV show."

In the series, a master vampire uses a human necroscope to help gain freedom, but the necroscope has his own plans. This series has long deserved to be a film or TV series, but even more now that they can put it on a streaming service and properly explore the gore and sex in the book without censoring it. Also, the special effects for this film would look great!"

"It's about a boy named Luke Ellis, who was kidnapped and sent to an institute after his parents were killed. Luke soon realizes there are other kids there due to the same reason...and, of course, because of their supernatural powers. Every time I read it, I imagine how I would direct it or how certain pages would look on the big screen. Maybe this is my call to become a director! But seriously, Ari Aster's way of directing (take the dinner scene from Hereditary as an example, the way he focused on the son and dad's faces even when Toni Collette was having her monologue, showing their reactions) would look perfect with this book. I need it!"

"A girl’s twin sister goes missing. The girl finally decides to take the investigation into her own hands. It’s really intense and has a huge plot twist (two, actually). It’s honestly one of the most harrowing books I have ever read, and it’s still my favorite. Watching it on screen and seeing all the characters come alive would be a dream!"

17. This Is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp

"It’s a great book that I’ve read hundreds of times in the past year. It tells the story of a school shooting from four different perspectives: the shooter’s ex, the shooter’s sister, the sister’s girlfriend, and the girlfriend’s brother. All four narrators are in different places throughout the school and it’s literally heart-pounding to read. A movie would be amazing."
