What Does Your Favorite MONOPOLY Token Say About You?

There have been enough MONOPOLY tokens over the years for just about everyone. See what new token is right for you in the MONOPOLY: Here & Now U.S. Edition game!

1. Cat

Spencer Bergen / BuzzFeed

Coy and cute, if you're a Cat player, you're likely a master manipulator — whether for good or for bad. Appearing to be erratic and devil-may-care, you do have some method to your madness, even if there's some luck in there too.

2. Top Hat

You don't just have a good hat on your head, but a good head on your shoulders. You think strategically about the long game and never lose track of how much money you're working with. If you're a Top Hat player, you're a by-the-books kind of person who generally keeps to yourself — but when it comes to MONOPOLY, you don't mind taking that hat off every once in a while and letting loose.

3. Thimble

Modest and seemingly with little use, the Thimble is actually the token of champions...considering it was the one the reigning U.S. MONOPOLY victor, Richard Marinaccio, uses. You, the Thimble player, might appear timid, but you know what's up: You'll keep your (property) cards close to your chest, and other players will never know what your plan is until they end up bankrupt on Pennsylvania Ave.

6. Battleship

The Battleship is for people who don’t take anyone’s crap. You’re someone who may be strong headed, but really you just know what you want — and, also, you’re probably right. At least, that’s what you think.

7. Cannon

Though the Cannon shares some similarities with the Battleship, you can sometimes be more stubborn and bombastic, with the occasional outburst if things don't go your way.

8. Race Car

Race Car drivers are sleek, smooth operators. You look good, and you know it. The downside is that you can be impatient and also have to have your oil changed every 3,000 miles.

9. Purse

Spencer Bergen / BuzzFeed

The Purse might be from a different time, but that doesn’t mean you are — you just happen to think that some things are timeless and can’t be improved upon. The Purse is someone who’s always prepared for anything and is reliable. But, you know, everyone misplaces their keys SOMEtimes.

10. Scottie Dog

Dependable and excitable, the Scottie Dog is quite the unique combination — you can definitely be counted on, but you're also not opposed to acting out and being spontaneous too.

11. Wheelbarrow

If you go for the Wheelbarrow, you're a workhorse and a team player. You're in it to win it, for sure, but you don't mind giving others a hand along the way — as long as the "way" ends with all of their money being yours.

12. Horse and Rider

You're in the saddle. You keep yourself under control, and you don't like it when things don't go as planned — but they rarely do as long as you're the one who came up with the plan. You might find yourself jockeying for position from time to time, but ultimately, you got this.

Fortunately, there's a special set in the MONOPOLY: Here & Now U.S. Edition game.

With BuzzFeed readers like you having voted on what properties made it into the game, it may just be the most personalized edition yet!

What can you expect to say when you choose one of the new tokens?

13. Baseball Mitt

Spencer Bergen / BuzzFeed

Choosing the Baseball Mitt is a sure sign that you're durable and adaptable. The other players might keep trying to strike you out, but you always manage to catch onto what their game is and come up with a new strategy of your own. The bases aren't the only things that are loaded — so is your wallet.

14. Cowboy Hat

Spencer Bergen / BuzzFeed

The Cowboy Hat is the Top Hat's wilder cousin. You are likely one of the loudest and opinionated players in the game who draws cards first and asks questions later. You might not have a long-term plan, but your short-term plan — kicking butt and taking names — usually works too.

15. The Statue of Liberty

Spencer Bergen / BuzzFeed

You're the moral compass of the game, for better or for worse. You try to play the game as neutrally as possible and have been known to moderate trade disputes between other players. They look up to you as a leader, although they also have their eyes on your holdings.

16. Trolley

Spencer Bergen / BuzzFeed

At times you can be hard-headed, and you tend to stick to a strategy once you've found one that works. Because of this, you have won the majority of the games you've played, or at least placed pretty well — but beware not to get stuck in a routine as you run the risk of becoming predictable. You don't *always* have to get the orange monopoly.
