4.The arts scene in Melbourne is one of the best in the world, too. Its world-famous street art is everywhere to be seen. It also makes for some good social media pics to make your friends back home jealous.
5.Melbourne also has an abundance of sports! You can pick whatever sport you like to support (or even play). Cricket, soccer, rugby, and even Australia's own weird sport "Aussie Rules".
6.Melbourne's night life is crazy fun. No matter what you're into, you'll find something that'll keep you out all night. Each place – from the CBD (that's Central Business District) to Southbank and South Wharf or even Fitzroy – has its own unique vibe.
7.The people are super friendly too.
8.It's the kind of city that lets you be who you want to be without judgement. And it's super inclusive.
9.Not to mention it's one of the easiest cities to get around! You can pretty much get a tram anywhere you need to go, from all the major venues in the city to outer Melbourne too.
10.In 2015, it was rated the ninth-safest city to live in and voted the most liveable city in Australia and the world – seven times running!
