52 Things Europe Doesn't Realize The USA Does Better Than Them

    Facts are facts.

    1. Salads, especially big salads, like people say Americans are unhealthy but our salad culture is THRIVING.

    2. Hamburgers.

    3. Steak.

    4. Grocery stores, like there are 72 brands of yogurts, 22 brands of milk, and 172 types of soda to choose from.

    5. Diners, like you literally have the ability to have breakfast at midnight in most of the United States.

    6. Something is always open because lots of stuff stays open 24 hours.

    7. Ranch dressing.

    8. Window screens.

    Not sure why all of Europe decided to ignore the invention of the window screen, but at least my new wasp roomies don't attack me too often

    9. Happy hours.

    10. Actual good happy hours, like buy one get one, and not just like $1 off.

    11. Weed, like it's so much stronger in the U.S..

    12. National parks, they're everywhere.

    13. Bacon, the crispy good kind.

    14. Nachos.

    15. Concert tour dates, like most popular artists tour throughout the U.S..

    16. The ability to turn right on red at stop lights.

    17. Dietary restrictions, like if you're vegan or gluten free you likely have more options in the U.S..

    18. Drying machines, like I know it's bad for the clothes but it's good for my convenience.

    19. Air conditioning

    PSA: never leave America without fully appreciating air conditioning and/or central air

    20. Drive-thrus for literally everything.

    21. The fact that our pharmacies and convenience stores are combined into one.

    22. Just the ability to buy Advil, Lysol wipes, a soda, and paper towels in one spot.

    23. Good quality paper towels.

    24. The strength of drinks, cocktails.

    Fun Fact: All mixed drinks are significantly stronger in America than they are in Central/Eastern Europe

    25. Netflix availability.

    26. Things are open on Sundays.

    27. Pizza delivery.

    28. Delivery, in general.

    29. Iced coffee.

    The best way to announce you're American outside of the US is to order an iced coffee.

    30. Gyms.

    31. The price of gyms (cheaper).

    32. The size of gyms.

    33. The amount of gyms.

    34. Roasted nuts, NUTS ARE ALWAYS RAW EVERYWHERE ELSE.

    35. Fast casual restaurants like Panera.

    36. Movie theatre popcorn.

    37. The sheer abundance of avocados.

    38. Hot sauce selection.

    You know you're in America when... All the diner tables have a selection on hot sauce. #TravelDanners

    39. Peanut butter.

    40. Cream cheese...but especially flavored cream cheese.

    41. Gas stations have everything.

    42. Free bread.

    Let me be CLEAR here: the thing that makes America great is the fact that restaurants give you unlimited bread- for FREE.

    43. Free refills.

    44. Ice.

    45. Refrigeration, in general.

    47. Iced water.

    48. Lots of coffee, like extra large cups of it.

    49. Easy access to drip/filtered coffee, in general.

    50. Seasonal items for the Fall.

    51. And, just like, the fact we have Cheez-Its.

    This bag of cheez its cost me $11 AMERICAN dollars, still no regrets
