You Can't Make Up How Absurd Lori Loughlin's First Court Appearance Was
Just when you thought it all couldn't get more absurd, it did.
Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo aka "the guy who used to sell T-shirts at Target," are officially on trial in Boston for their part in the college admissions scandal!
As you know, Lori and her husband (no longer at Target, but, like, of course still Target guy) are accused of spending $500,000 to get their daughters into USC as crew recruits*.
And just a little update on Lori's influencer daughter, Olivia Jade: US Weekly is reporting she's blaming her parents because they "ruined everything" for her.
Anyway, Aunt Becky and her husband were among 13 parents making their first federal court appearance and oooh, let me tell you, the red carpet was hot and by hot I mean: HOW IS THIS REAL LIFE?!
The day before their court appearance, Lori and her husband arrived by private jet and Lori stopped to sign autographs outside her hotel.
Smiles all around!
The next day was their first court appearance.
Outside the courthouse there were rabid Aunt Becky fans with facial cut outs of Aunt Becky.
"Aunt Becky is going to jail!!!"
There were other girls with signs pleading for Lori to pay for their tuition.
"WE CAN PRETEND TO DO CREW TOO!!"
When she exited the courthouse, Lori and her husband walked that short red carpet (sidewalk) and more chaos erupted.
Lori, like the pro she is, worked that federal court concrete carpet hard.
"Lori, pay my tuition!!" someone seriously screamed.
It was an occasion!
To sum it up: Private jet, autograph signing, cheering fans, and red carpet looks.
Smiles all around!
Ryan Murphy, we need an American Crime Story ASAP.
FYI, a previous version of this post said she was signing autographs outside the courthouse but it was actually outside her hotel before the court appearance.
