James Corden has been exposed.
For years, Corden has led us, the trusting public, to believe that he was *the* one driving the "Carpool Karaoke" car.
Turns out, things aren't always what they seem.
A person on Twitter spotted James filming his "Carpool Karaoke" episode with Justin Bieber, and I'll just say it: The car is being pulled by a truck.

Buuuut the story doesn't end there.
People have been responding to the viral tweet with pictures of their run-ins with "Carpool Karaoke." This person saw James actually driving during the One Direction episode. There was no truck.

So, basically, it seems like he used to drive the car but doesn't anymore, which, like I said before, is good so nobody dies.

The executive producer of The Late Late Show has referred to these allegations as "not true." He said they only use the rig when they do stunts, 4 out of 50 or so times:
