As you probably know, Fox is Trump's favorite channel.

So, I'm sure he wasn't too pleased if he caught this segment of The Five:

Donald Trump is building a ballroom twice the size of the White House. He says it’s “his money,” but it’s really from companies chasing favors. Meanwhile, farmers can’t sell soybeans and the government’s shut down. This isn’t what Americans voted for. pic.twitter.com/2pjpraDPfN

Host Jessica Tarlov had something *different* to say about his ballroom.

"It is nothing like any of the other renovations. His ballroom is almost double the size of the White House itself. And he is not using taxpayer dollars, he's using his own dollars, maybe, or the dollars of companies that want favorable treatment, like Google, Palantir, all with big contracts with him."

"But Trump and Karoline Leavitt and the whole administration would rather that this is what we're focused on, and it's really getting away from the real stories of the moment. We are in the midst of a government shutdown. The Republican caucus from New Jersey wrote to Mike Johnson, saying, 'You've got to make a short-term deal. Our constituents cannot handle these ACA premium hikes.' Our farmers are losing their businesses. No soybeans coming out of America. We bail out Argentina and then Argentina gets the contract."

"Just before we came on air, the National Cattlemen's Beef Association said, 'Cattlemen and women cannot stand behind President Trump while he undercuts the future of family farmers and ranchers by importing Argentinian beef.'"

"Those are the stories of what is happening in America today. That is how Donald Trump's administration is hurting everyday Americans, most of whom voted for him. So, the ballroom is a monstrosity, but I am choosing to talk about the shutdown and what's happening to our ranchers and our farmers."

This clearly set people off in the replies!

Trump fans are obviously saying, "She couldn't possibly be more wrong."

But then it's a lot of people saying, uh, this is exactly what Americans voted for.

A person on a news show discusses a headline about Donald Trump building a ballroom. Caption below reads, "'Dumb and Dumber' Star Sings, Strums to Own Trump."

"This is, in fact, EXACTLY what Americans voted for by voting for Trump."

Soo, what do you think? Is this what Americans voted for? Is the ballroom just one big distraction? Is it a monstrosity? Yes, no, maybe so? Sound off in the comments! <3
