After Dream Street broke up in 2002, Chris continued acting and singing. In 2019, he released a song called "Summer."

Earlier this month, Chris passed away from an undisclosed illness. It's being reported by People magazine and a member of the band that it was COVID-19 related.

In honor of Chris's 35th birthday, the four members of Dream Street decided to come together and honor his legacy with a very good and very beautiful acoustic version of "It Happens Every Time."
