According to the AP:
A hospital spokeswoman says a toddler named Angel Babcock was found alive in an Indiana field after violent storms is the sole survivor of her immediate family.
Cis Gruebbel is a spokeswoman for Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Ky. Gruebbel says the toddler is in critical condition.
Washington County, Ind., Coroner Rondale Brishaber said the girl's mother, father, 2-month-old sister and 2-year-old brother all died in the storm.
The Telegraph says:
Rescuers said she was discovered in the dark in a field near the town of Salem, 10 miles from her home, suffering from serious head injuries.
Her grandfather has told the press the next 24-48 hours are critical to her survival.
